Short Sentence is a Shanghai-based womenswear label founded in 2015. The label prides itself on creating great designs that transcend changing trends and seasons. Made for the modern-day, on-the-go woman, it curates comfortable and timeless essentials that introduce inspiring and pleasant details into everyday life.
CHARLES & KEITH teams up with Shanghai-based womenswear label, Short Sentence, for its latest designer collaboration. Titled “Riding On A Breezy Day”, the capsule collection is inspired by the combined interpretation of urban life held by both brands, and it aims to capture a relaxed and atmospheric mood perfect for spring and summer.
“For this capsule, ‘riding’ is akin to a psychological state of travelling through the hustle and bustle of a city. The campaign captures the life aspect of urban people seeking individual expression and inner self-consistency in their own rhythm,” said Short Sentence founder-designer Guan Lin.
This capsule collection will bring newness to an everyday look with Short Sentence’s eclectic designs, infused with a distinctive CHARLES & KEITH touch. The Striped Bucket Bag cleverly combines woven fabric and leather to create a lightweight yet roomy accessory. It features Short Sentence’s bi-coloured nautical stripes for a joyful and vibrant aesthetic.
The curved platform Mary Janes, available in both black and white, are a nod to Short Sentence’s classic footwear style. They are made from matte-effect, recycled faux leather, reflecting both brands’ shared vision of sustainability.
